AgroAsia Tractors Management and Botswana Tractors Association met at Grand Aria Hotel Gaborone!
Like other main stakeholders in Botswana’s agricultural sector, AgroAsia Tractors is also a key exporter and distributor of brand new and ISO-certified farm machinery from Pakistan to Botswana. With a vision to understand and address the challenges faced by farmers in Botswana regarding farm machinery, we recently completed another mission-oriented visit to Botswana. During this visit, we formally met with the Botswana Tractor Association (BTA) Management at Grand Aria Hotels and Conference Centre Jamali bypass, Gaborone, Botswana. The whole meeting agenda was centered around the in-depth details of farming conditions, farm machinery requirements, logistical challenges, and weather considerations in Botswana.
Botswana Tractor Association (BTA) showed their keen interest in incorporating AgroAsia tractors to support Botswana farmers. They expressed concern regarding the current agricultural Farm Machinery status of Botswana and asked to ensure the availability of all types of farm machinery, whether it be farm tractors, farm implements, or tractor parts.
During the discussions, it became clear that the Botswana government is strongly dedicated to improving the agricultural sector by investing in tractors and machinery in the years ahead. Recently, the Botswana Government launched the Temo Letlotlo Program to facilitate farmers in a modern way of farming by providing bulk farm machinery and seeds, as well as rewards in cash. This vision of progress and prosperity strongly aligns with AgroAsia Tractors’ goal of supporting farmers and boosting agricultural productivity.
